Meet Cabaret!

Cabaret began when Pam, Holly and Donna performed together as part of two special public relations tours to China in 2002 and 2003. Both tours were organized to help spread the love of barbershop singing to yet another part of the world. These three thoroughly enjoyed each other's company and had some pretty special performances. In fact, the geographic differences suddenly didn't seem nearly so impossible. All they had to do was find someone 'crazy enough' to be the fourth part of this special quartet - so they contacted Patty, a world renowned Sweet Adeline tenor - and Cabaret was born!

Patty sings tenor, as she did earlier in her 1987 International Championship quartet Ginger 'n Jazz. She and her husband, Frank, live in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she is an HR Office manager. Patty serves on the Regional musical faculty for Region 25 of Sweet Adelines, is assistant director of the Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus and the tenor section leader. Her husband, Frank, directs that Sweet Adeline Chorus and is a very recognizable character in his own right in the Barbershop Quartet society. Patty and Frank have one son, Michael, and a beautiful Springer Spaniel, Maggie. Contact Patty at patty@cabaretquartet.com
Singing the lead part for Cabaret is Pam. She and her husband live in Texas in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. When she is not singing with Cabaret, Pam gives voice lessons and is a member of the Rich-Tone Chorus front row, chorus music team, section coach, and serves as a member of the music faculty for Region 25. (She had to do something to keep her out of trouble while her husband was flying all over the world!) Pam and Mike have two grown children, Brad and Mollee and two grandsons, Beau and Dean, and a granddaughter, Carson, who are the stars of her life . . . just ask her! Holly adds her voice singing baritone with Cabaret. Although generally choosing to contribute her skills and talents working a bit behind the scenes in handling barbershop musical arrangements done by her mom, Renee, her husband, Brian and many others, this quartet provides an opportunity for them to get better acquainted with Holly herself. She is a third-generation barbershopper, has sung in a top ten finalist quartet, has several chorus champion gold medals to her name, and is the Executive Assistant for the A.I.C., the men's past quartet champions association. Like Patty and Pam, Holly serves as part of the music faculty for Sweet Adelines Region 25. Holly and Brian have 'his and hers' three sons, five grandchildren and Annie (the cat)! Singing bass is Donna from Kansas. During the work week, Donna says busy taking care of her 800 children - she is a middle school counselor. Like Patty, Donna has been privileged to win the International Sweet Adelines Quartet Championship, becoming a Queen of Harmony in 1997 singing bass with Classic Edition. Donna, too, brings a family heritage of singing barbershop music with her. Following in the footsteps of her grandfather and father, Donna, her siser, her brother (third generation), and two of her nephews (fourth generation) sing in quartets. A special nephew, Jeff, is currently appearing in a Broadway show! Donna is a member of the Sunflower Harmony Chorus and often participates in leadership roles for the music schools in Region 7. She shares her home with Sara, the Weimaraner! Contact Donna at donna@cabaretquartet.com
